Greetings from Colorado, I've been  a member for a while, but am finally getting serious about sorting out my Europa's. I own 2 74 TCS's, 3733R purchased in 1981 w/ 40,000 miles, a damaged driver side nose, and a cracked windshield. drove it sporadically for 10 years. I was looking for a windshield to start a restoration of 3733R, and ended up purchasing 3857R, another stalled project, but with lots of top shelf parts, ie: fresh big valve, weber head, Brian Hart engine, NG3 gear box, Banks twin link, Avo shocks, perfect body, and a new windshield. The down side... completely!! disassembled, and in boxes. So for the last 15 years my garage has been stuffed and unusable due to 2 Lotuses, 1 Alfa GTV6, ! 79 Yamaha Daytona special, and tons of associated parts and tools. Being mostly unemployed due to covid, I've had time to start sorting, cleaning, and prioritizing my projects. I'm starting with 3733R, and am looking forward to spending lots of time here, asking lots of questions, buying/ trading parts, and hopefully being able to chime in in an intelligent manner. Thanks in advance for the help that I'm sure I'll be availing myself of, and hopefully I'll get to actually meet some of you when we get ahead of this virus!

 :Welcome:
Glad you finally posted.  It sounds like you are going to take on the rebuild. Storage area and work area are a big problem when trying to stay on one item and keep the hundreds of other tasks moving along.
I can relate to having multiple projects , It’s a juggling act . Just remember to post pics to keep track of your progress. It’s fun to read years later as in my case , but,  it will be your story told in your timeline.
 Again , welcome!

GTV6, love that engine.  Banks fit one to a Europa once.

I see that you have one of your projects listed as a Black, stalled racer project .
The other is not on the registry.  http://www.lotus-europa.com/regspcl.html. Please send an update to the site .

3733r is found 😃

Welcome to the forum, Mr WW. Looking forward to seeing your projects come to life. Cheers  :beerchug:
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

Thanks for the positive comments! GTV6 is indeed a great motor, I've talked to Richard about a chassis. Rd 400F is bone stock, !8,000 mi., don't like riding it on the street anymore. As i dig out my shop I'll take pictures and let everyone know how it's going!

I hope you’re digging thru boxes and boxes of lotus parts and not that dreaded WHITE STUFF. 😂
Wow only 18000 . Can’t wait to see pictures.
