I'd rather be comfortable in the heat and cold than have the space.
Remember - the heater and blower motor don't work.

If the heater doesn't work either, this fits in the stock location and does both.

Clifton, did you buy this safty switch and how did you add i to the system?
A COMPRESSOR SAFETY SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED ON EVERY A/C SYSTEM. A BINARY SWITCH
(PART# 24679-VUS) DISENGAGES THE COMPRESSOR CLUTCH IN CASE OF EXTREME LOW PRESSURE
CONDITIONS (REFRIGERANT LOSS) OR EXCESSIVELY HIGH HEAD PRESSURE (406 PSI.) TO PREVENT
COMPRESSOR DAMAGE OR HOSE RUPTURE. A TRINARY SWITCH (PART# 24678-VUS) COMBINES
HI/LOW PRESSURE PROTECTION WITH AN ELECTRIC FAN OPERATION SIGNAL AT 254 PSI. COMPRESSOR
SAFETY SWITCHES ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT SINCE AN A/C SYSTEM RELIES ON REFRIGERANT TO CARRY
LUBRICATION THROUGH THE SYSTEM.
does it modulate when RPM low?

Yes, I have a brinary switch that mounts in the top of the dryer. I'll get a pic this afternoon. It has a low pressure shutoff but it allows the clutch to engage and turn on. Maybe it has a delay? The pressures on the VA systems are lower than most R134 systems. 6-15 psi low side. High side the same 2 x ambient plus some %, I can't remember off the top.

My fans are separate, off the clutch signal. Staggered to come on with a delay relay so everything doesn't pull too many amps at once.

Here's the dryer and while I was there, the fittings on the lines.
