1st Car Show
« on: Saturday,May 17, 2025, 12:34:11 PM »
Just to see people's reaction to the Europa, I went to a small local car show today, was held at and to benefit the local Tech school, mostly beefed up muscle cars and trucks, it was a hoot - I was 1 of 4 import cars, and the owner of a 2025 Vette said " so that's what a mid-engine looked like 50 years ago"  & hey I won Best Import Car.  The 1956 VW should have won it was stunning!  The fender mirrors were works for art. Overall it was a hoot!  some knew what the Lotus was, but most didn't.

And the fun begins! Be prepared for people to stop you in parking lots and ask about your car. They are real attention getters!

I went to a car show today too but you did a lot better than I did! My show was sponsored by our MG club. Because of all the changes I made to my car, I was in the "Modified" class. There were three of us in that class. Two MGBGTs with Pontiac V6 engines. One carbureted and immaculate. Another fuel injected and not as nice. I got a third!  :o

Congratulations on your trophy!!! That's really cool!
