I have a s2 model 54 panel that is good except  the radio hole I could trace if that would help.

54 is different than 65?
I have been setting up my woodworking space.
Need to get the body off the red car ASAP so that I may take the dash out to re-Veneer.
I will post progress as it happens.

Seems odd that an S2 dash would have an ignition switch hole when the ignition is on the column.
Maybe a good place for a USB port?

54s have a switch on the panel away over to the right not on the column

If you look at the dash...it's symmetrical, and depends on where they put the filler pieces for LHD vs RHD.   The unused hole for LHDs frequently had a cigar lighter in the hole on the passenger side (which is, if you flipped the dash around and moved the filler pieces to the now rear side, it would be where the washer switch went...).  The locking column was an add-on to satisfy the bureaucrats; the ignition switch wiring actually ended up on (for us in the LHD world) the passenger side, and there was a jumper harness that linked the wiring from the column to the passenger side of the harness.

I just, in 693R, removed the locking switch on the column and jumper harness and put the ignition switch where it was intended to live on the passenger side.  I figured that 1) no one would want the car and the locking column switch was one more thing to go bad and 2) it eliminated an extra set of contacts on the ends of the jumper harness, simplifying what was in back of the dash.

It also looked cleaner, to my eyes anyway.

I now have a TC dash thanks to the kindness of another member.
Surprised to find so few differences.

I expect to have my quote for local Lazer cut dash blanks in the morning.
Local is important as it avoids one shipping expense, I will just go pick them up.
The first question to pop up is, how many S2 vs TC in this first batch?
I need two S2 for myself, so thinking four of each?
The fun is going to be the laminate faces.
But I do have the vacuum bag and other supplies on hand.
Anyone interested let me know.
I expect to beat the currently available unit prices substantially.
