Colin Chapin died two years later to the exact day of an American legend, Colonel Sanders (Born Harland David Sanders). The Colonel died December 16th, 1980. One was known for fast cars, the other fast food. One was nicknamed "Chunky" and the other was famous for making people chunky. Colin understood the secrets of handling while the Colonel the secrets of herbs and spices.  I would like to think that the two became friends in Heaven with the Colonel driving some divine heavenly Lotus and Mr. Chapman sitting around with some F1 angels eating a bucket of chicken, the Original Recipe of course.

You may be the only person who would relate Chunky with The Colonel!  :FUNNY:

But I’m happy to share your vision of post mortem exchange automotive and culinary treats!

Yeah, there was a lot of controversy surrounding the last few years of his death but I didn't want to sully his memory on the anniversary of his death, I chose to take the "official" cause of death.

The Governor also shares that fateful day with Beethoven. It was his birthday a mere 250 years ago on Dec 16 this year!
