Thank you all for all the well wishes.

All boarded up and property cleaned up. This slow moving storm will last till Thursday but currently moving at 1 mph and 170 miles from west palm. Pfreen and literarymadness area.
Anticipation!

Yes, be safe! It looks like it's starting to weaken so hopefully that will continue. Good luck to everyone in Florida!

   So far so good .
This thing is SLOW! What was predicted to be a midpoint is still in the same spot .
The good news is it’s losing strength and it’s new projected path is out to sea.
Maybe just a glancing blow with some wind and rain. I can’t complain with that. Once again my location is the star upper left.

I'm really glad you're in good shape and hopefully the rest of Florida will do as well!

I've been watching it weaken. It reminds me of a hurricane when I was in college when I lived in New Orleans. A hurricane was coming straight up the Mississippi River, which was the worst case scenario. When it got to mouth of the river, it stopped and over night, it died.

I know it would be too much to ask for that to happen this time but if it goes out to sea, that would work for me!

We definitely dodged that bullet for now . There are two more storms developing.
This will be a night of wind and rain but the good side of the storm per say.

I'm really happy for you! Its down to 110 mph now so even if it hits land, that's pretty manageable.

I'm really sad for the people of the Bahamas.

That’s a real shame. The videos coming from a he area are heartbreaking. A friend of mine (inlaw) who spends weeks there every year and where my daughter got engaged said the house was completely leveled. It was on one of the smaller islands.
I can’t imagine 50 hours of havoc !
