Most expensive Europa yet?

Ahoy All

Just came across this TC for sale in France. It has had a total rebuild. They say the interior is leather but it looks like plastic to me. The engine cover doesn't even seem to fit properly but I as I have seen many TCs like this I assume it's common.

They are asking 58,000€ which is £49,000 or $65,000 !!

Cheers

That looks like  US Federal car from the inset side repeater lights and the Zenith Stromberg carbs. It also has Federal rear lights with red indicators.

I wonder how red indicators comply with local regulations.

I would guess an early 1973 model.

I believe that it is leather and very well done too. My 73, (titled as a 74) was yellow but mine was the base model with 4 speed and steel rims. I like this car, a lot… However, 58,000€ is $90,395 in Canadian dollars. Then there is the cost of shipping it from France, the fees getting into Canada, getting it certified in Ontario and the 13% HST (made up of goods and services tax plus provincial sale tax).
