….would love to see someone do this. As you say one would need to keep the corner weights the same to keep the same handling experience. I have an i3 (2015) as well and like it very much…the single pedal operation is great fun with regen doing most of the retardation…up to a month or so ago she still had the same brake pads and discs and were only changed because of pitting from lack of use.

Fuel tank positions obviously
Create a hollow bespoke centre spine to take another battery pack?. No gear change required and minimal cooling which might liberate this area. Range would be an issue but it would be a fun 100 miles!
