The QR above is just a 3-bolt with an adapter.  You can make up your own adapter to go from 3 bolt to the Lotus pattern.

 I’ll try to get back to this project soon, but I’ll at least cut the spokes and drill holes to look like the original.

  I just realized that I posted the steering wheel ring on the wrong thread.

  I made up the spokes for the steering. I purchased enough material to build another later with a quick disconnect.
  I’ll try to keep this thread on what it takes to make one.  My next step will be to go over the fit and then add the bends to the spokes then secure them to the original center hub.
  I still need to shop for some type of padding under the finished covering.

I used 3/4" rubber tubing and a Chinese leather steering wheel cover cut and stitched by a horse saddle maker.

It turned out as good as new.

  I’m thinking about a wood grain laminate over the steel center hub, but I’ve seen a
Leather wrap twine under the final covering.
