I had a long time friend, Jason Gabor of Troy Laser & Fab, cut new instrument panels for me. He did a remarkably flawless job. Virtually no clean up required. I've been working with Jason for about twenty years on various projects and he has always delivered with perfection. The anodized aluminum I was able to source from Online Metals and the fine mill finish is identical to the original panels. While mine are clear anodized aluminum he can of course cut any type of wood panel that you might want to use. Feel free to use my drawing or his cutter path data (both on file) and modify as you need. Troy Laser is very accommodating and fairly priced.

Nice fabrication!
At what point did S1's go from aluminum dash to wood?

They changed to a wooden dashboard with the introduction of the S1A at chassis number 460300.
I believe there were criticisms of glare and reflections from the polished aluminium dashboard and the lack of ventilation with the fixed windows.
(there were other minor changes but the most obvious were the wooden dashboard and the 'pop-out' door windows (with a fixed quarter-light)
