Hi:
I hinted in my last post that the first time my engine fired up after more than 25 years was full of unexpected drama. It turned out that the PO had neglected to properly secure the Muffler Nuts, and they came flying out of the tail pipe one at a time like machine gun bullets. I had to hit the kill switch to find out WTF was going on :)

That must have been exciting! ;D
What were muffler nuts doing inside your muffler?? Am I missing something?

That noise would cause me to shut it down ASAP. I’m assuming those are leftovers from some rodents or someone’s sick humor.

Definitely some furry friends. I just pulled out the spare tire for the first time and found a rodent McMansion underneath. But as far as I can tell, they fortunately preferred acorns over plastic wire insulation.
Can't way till I get to the chassis cross bar!
