Title: Engine Stand 807 mounting

HI:
I am about ready to start assembling a 807 that I have had for a while.
I had the head pro rebuilt and the crank reground.
In the past I have rebuilt wet sleeve engines(the original S2 engine) so I vaguely remember the steps(3 sizes of bottom cylinder gaskets etc).
I never used an engine stand in the past but I have one now and I have just finished a 260 Ford on it.
What is the best way to mount the 807 on the rotisserie?
I used the transmission bolt holes for the 260 but I think I can use 3 bolts on the side of the 807 block or?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

PS: I asked about the oil drain bolt size a while back and in the interim one of my friends in the local Lotus club sent me a spare crush washer for the S2 drain.Its a M16/M18 Thick 1,5mm FYI

You can attach it either way.  It's a pretty light engine, even when fully built.

+ one - it's pretty light.

Sometimes a 'desktop' frame is a good option, too.
This one came with an engine I bought ages ago.

Thanks for the responses.
The S2 that I did (way back when) was on a "desktop"frame of 2x4's..functional but awkward.
Yes the engine is light.
My dad and I lifted it out of the S2 with a rug-hammock device.
Dad passed away 20 years ago and I was in my late 20's to give a time frame(40 years ago) to this Olympic event.

I welded up a side mount from some scrap metal I had laying around.

What were the 3 bolt sizes??(save me some digging time thanks)

If I had used flat steel there would be four bolts.
Not sure of size, I just used what was already there.
8mm and 10mm?

Thanks again for the come back.
My nuts and bolts collection tends to not be metric.
I pulled out the block and did some thread chasing to come up with the sizes.
They were M8,M10 and M12.
You know how what starts out to be a simple thing then some how gets turned around into a project!

I did the same as above...8x1.25 and 10x1.25

1/4 plate with a Sch 40 attachment.
The easy stuff done now the real chore starts.
