Hi folks,
Just found this review on Youtube.
Some inaccuracies to spot (marks out of ten for the completed list ;) ) but on the whole it's a decent show from someone who has restored a wrecked/bodged Elise S1 and who has a good presentation style.

Chapman struts for one...

Yes an interesting review, I follow this guy and he is slowly growing his youtube channel. He has a Ferrari 308 that he's had a nightmare to get running properly.

Chapman struts for one...
:)
Yep, that was the first one that grated with me and after that I paid more attention. But the guy is obviously a Lotus enthusiast and from a whole generation later than our cars so I'll cut some slack.

Thanks Brian. That was an entertaining watch. I appreciated the completely unscripted nature of the production as he tries to do the impossible, which is to put Lotus handling into words.

Chapman struts for one...
The Chapman strut is a design of independent rear suspension used for light cars, particularly sports and racing cars. It takes its name from, and is best known for its use by, Colin Chapman of Lotus.
The characteristic feature of the Chapman strut is a long upright strut combining a coil spring and shock absorber, with a universal-jointed drive shaft itself forming the lower link of the suspension.

The jarring part for me was "... they still manage to make around nine thousand pounds..."
So I think I overpaid for mine a bit!
