The Vin Plate says the car was originally Colorado Orange. And they changed it to yellow :huh:

Yeah, I expected a higher bid, too. There was no drive or start up video. I would have thought the seller would have posted one. I don't think that made much difference though.

Good point, JB! There was an exquisite just restored Elan that went for a BaT record price for Elans. The seller was very involved offering information, answering questions, chatting with viewers. His Elan was WAY better than this car so it was going to get a very good price anyway, but he did have a driving and startup and driving video and he was very engaged. I think that helps.
