They just keep coming...

That looks like a nice one. The seats look pretty worn but if everything else is as good as it seems, that’s fairly minor. I hope he gets his price.

What I don't understand is it seemingly failed to sell for $12,999 and he's now asking so much more.

That old listing says ‘sold’, so I guess buyer is trying to flip it for a profit.

The older ebay listing states that there is no vehicle title. The new listing states that there is a clean title. It looks as though someone bought the car in September, organized a title document and then relisted for sale.

Does having the title really add an extra 50% to the value.

Actually the new listing has no title as well.
From the ad; THIS 1971 LOTUS EUROPA IS BEING SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE, NO TITLE. THE STATE OF GEORGIA DOES NOT ISSUE TITLES ON OLDER VEHICLES
IF YOU NEED TO GET A CA TITLE FOR THIS VEHICLE, I CAN HELP YOU WITH THAT FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE
