Title: Wanted Renault Hemihead long camshaft for 843/807 engine

I am looking to find a standard or sport long camshaft to fit my 1647cc 843 engine. I tried Mecaparts but they have no stock of their MP0371 cam. anything considered to get the engine running.

!!!! Don't know what happened. You could try his phone: (450) 773-5539. They guy you want to talk to (and maybe the only guy there) is Michel. He seems to be a really good guy. Just be prepared for a pretty thick French accent!

There are no cams for the 807/843. Michel ordered 2 blanks from Europe. One for me and the other for sale. They have to be cut to specs. He leaves in November for the winter. Give him a call. He is very busy so leave a message and he will get back to you.   Tom

John. Your right catcams website lists them but Michel brought 2 blanks back from France last winter. I guess he likes to cut them to his specs.  Not sure. He said he couldn’t get one.  I left it at that.  He’s building the engine so I left everything up to him.
