When was the last time you changed your fuel lines?

I find all sorts of crap in the bottom of the tanks too.
I am changing to 6mm copper fuel lines, using compression gas fittings.
-
I run 5/16”/8mm lines. 1/4”/6mm is a bit small.

I thought the pipes coming out from the tanks were 6mm ID.
If so, anything bigger later in the line would be restricted by the diameter of the exit from the tanks.

It is, or at least it was on my original tanks. And if the 6mm restriction wasn't at the tank you'd hit the same thing at the pump inlet and then at the dellortos on the TCs. But I missed a trick when I made my tanks because a larger outlet would have meant that the tanks balanced themselves quicker when filling up. With a 6mm balance you need to fill one tank and then move over to the other one if you want to get the most fuel in you can, I think a 10mm balance branching to a 6mm feed line would be much better.
