Hi all,
I was just on the phone with SJS and apparently the top bush for the ANTI ROLL BAR DROP LINK (Chassis to BAR) is no longer available.
Anyone out there know where I can get there.
Apparently the only other option is to buy the new drop link :-(

I cut off the bent part of the link and threaded it 1/2”-20. I then used 1/2” rod end bearings to attach the link to the upper A arm bolt. This allows you to shorten the link a little bit which moves raises the sway bar to increase ground clearance. You can also adjust the two rod ends to eliminate preload on the sway bar.

I just called Dave bean and they have the droplinks at least for an s2 for $115.each

Any pictures of the modification to the drop link. Nice idea. Tom

Attached are the photos. I just cut off the top bushing end and threaded it 1/2”-20. The washers on both sides of the rod end ball allows extra range for the ball joint.

Pfreen,
Nice mod, I just ordered all those bushings 1 day before your post .
I’ll keep it on file for when I fine tune build. What size sway bay do you have?
Thanks,
Dakazman

It is an Addco 3/4”. The original on a tcs is 5/8” diameter.

Pfreen, I am impressed with your sway bar droop link modification. Did you get the collet from McMaster Carr also or make it yourself?

Rod,
What are you up to besides this: "also restoring 69 Elan +2 and driving a 1975 TR6"
