Hi all,
I am about to order some parts from Anglo Parts in Europe.
Has anyone out there used them before?
Any feedback?
Cheers,

I worked at the Anglo Parts distributer in Canada for many years: Sports Car Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The parts were mostly excellent, some good and few items so-so. The so-so items were re-pops of very rare parts like door latch mechs for MGA coupes -- which frankly were pretty sketchy even when the cars were new. Their upholstery items are excellent, way better than Moss stuff.

Thanks for the note.
This may be a stupid question :-(
Bus does the Sports Car Center carry all the same products that are advertised on the Anglo Parts website?
Cheers,

Out of curiosity, what parts would you be getting from Anglo Parts? Most of the "parts bin" pieces can typically be found in North America, the usual suspects (Moss Motors, British Parts Northwest, etc) carry most if not all of the bits taken from the Triumph parts bin, along with the Girling bits. Lotus specific bits can be found at the specialist places like RD Ent, or Dave Bean. Though I did get the suspension bushings for my car from SJ Sportscars as I was in the UK when I was ready to order them.

SCC has a modest stock and does regular stock orders. Typically stock orders go out every week in the summer and every second week in the winter.

hi there - I am looking for a couple of parts.
Heater valve cable retention clip
Dashboard headlight knob.

Where are you located in Canada?
-
An exact copy of the original headlight knob is available from RD Enterprises, probably from other Lotus specialists as well. Part # 36B6008 priced at $69.00. It has a black symbol on a silver background. This knob was found on various English Fords from the 60s. Easy to find then, hard to find now. You can get a headlight knob from Anglo (and elsewhere) for an MG/Triumph for about $20 but it is silver symbol on a black background.

If you have a TC/S, the heater valve clip is available from any British parts supplier for peanuts. Same clip was used on MGBs, Triumph TR6s, Spitfires, etc.

Yes I do - many thanks for for advice.

I have bought from them before, good for the parts that are difficult to find. But they are quite expensive for most of the "run of the mill" items.
