Title: FS: Lucas brake light switches NOS
Post by: gjz30075 on Wednesday,February 03, 2016, 08:20:44 AM
I have four Lucas brake light switches for an S2 and above.  Part number: 34619 A.    These are brand new.
$16, shipping included, for one.    They'll be shipped in a small flat rate box so shipping remains the same for
multiples.

They will work on S1s as well.

Wouldn't these be pretty standard thread (3/8 - 24, right?)? Or did they go from metric to English threads after the S1?

Hi guys, I was using the GGLC site for cross refererence and it indicated S2 and beyond.  Part number 34819 is for S1, per their site.

Original S1 has terminals with screws to secure bare wire to.  This would be an upgrade.

Is this the switch that activates the brake fall warning dash lamp?
Though I've tried to reset the plunger/piston by opening various bleeders and applying pedal pressure, I can not get my switch to reset.

I don't think so Mark.   This simply activates the brake lights via hydraulic pressure.

Besides the part number on the flat surface, shown in the first pic, there are also the numbers  6  65.  Maybe a date code?

Hi Mark,

Start a new thread so we don't hijack this one.
