Something with long, twin radius arms like the single seaters and sports racers, Lotus 47?

Here ya go, Roddy. 28 1/4" long, end to end. 3/4" diameter

They're definitely not Lotus 47, as they weren't bushed at the ends. They could be Lotus 23 or off of one of the Formula Junior Lotus cars or any other early mid engined single seaters.
