Hello:
My name is Chris Mahalick, and I am the owner of a new Lotus Europa. Mine is a 1974, and has been sitting for about twenty years in a basement, and then a garage. It has 10k original miles, and it looks pretty good. The prior owner had the carbs rebuilt, and had the oil sump off the engine. So I will have to put it back together, and of course, a full brake rebuild is in process.
I also have a 1984 911 Targa which I now inside and out. This Lotus looks so complicated in comparison.
I guess my next step will be to finish the brake rebuild. Next will be to plumb the fuel lines and get this oil sump and starter installed.

What a lovely car.

Very pretty! I've never worked on a 911, but I'd be very surprised if the Europa turns out to be more complicated! Let us know if we can help.

Wow! Great looking Europa. My Favorite color. We were just in your area last weekend - picking up a 365 transaxle. Very pretty around there.
You'll have a blast with it.
I've a '74 TCS also, 4397R. How close in mfg. dates are we?

Congratulations on the Europa. I also have a 911 and joined the Europa fan club earlier this year. I love it.
