Japanese at again
« on: Saturday,January 11, 2020, 12:32:32 PM »
Found this on my Instagram feed from Tokyo Auto Salon show.  I think it might be a reinvention of the red car from a few years ago.  Definitely not everyone’s taste but there is a Europa under there somewhere.
1974 Europa Special
1969 Europa S2
1970 Lotus Elan +2
1978 Austin Mini - 1275, big brakes
1991 Ford Explorer - Lifted on 33s, custom lift and radius arms
2005 Chrysler 300C - chipped, lowered 22s
2011 Cadillac Escalade - Stage 3 cam, Headers, CAI, 2,600 stall converter

The Japanese do like Europa's. I wonder what engine is hiding under the fancy bodywork?

The car is made by RE Amemiya which is one of the most famous rotary engine tuners in the world. The car is a development of the red car they did some years ago. The chassis is still a backbone type of some sort. The engine is a 20b, three rotor engine, which makes totally sense as they are specialists for rotary engines.
