I still have plenty of work ahead of me, but i am making progress.

I wanted the white hump for the numbers, but with the vinyl a DIY job, was not confident i could do it the same on both sides - no hump

Lou,
thanks for the pics (and the speedhunters link, to which I spent a couple hours looking last night)
choose only one? I would have to have a closer look before committing.
the technical shop happy web site is very nice, they have some interesting Europa parts, and services.
I see the only Europa for sale on the happy site is priced at over 40K.
Chuc Mung Nam Moi !!
Happy New Year everyone!

Andy & Ex 1178...There seems to be a strong influence in the "land of the rising sun" to take the styling of the Europa to another level. Although I am more of the classic look fan, I enjoy the modifications...really like the NACA ducts on the front bonnet. ld

The shop working on my car now, the owners name is Holgar,  when i first met him a year ago, we got to talking about europa's.  at the time i was parts scavenging and ended at his shop (Powerslide motorsports, Jackson NJ) to look at a customers dashboard.  Like i said, we got to talking and hed mentioned that in the 80's there was a big market for Europa's in Japan.  back then he, and a few others were buying all the europas they could get there hands on, doing some modifications and selling them in the Japaneses market.   He said it was great money at the time.

I suspect a number of those cars made their way through his hands.  Small world

nice car exarkun. I like the paint scheme.

the Japanese really do some nice mods to their cars. witness all the photos on the speedhunter site.
I spent some time on facebook looking for Europa stuff, found some info/pics from Japan, dug further into these peoples friends photos, came across even more. it was very interesting the variety that was found.

I also like Buell motorcycles. From their earliest days, Buell had export models for the Japanese market. Which says a lot - considering Buell only produced a small number of bikes the first 5-6 years.
There are a lot of nice owner modded Buells in Japan.
