Stainless S2 Rear Deck Screens

<< < (3/3)

BDA:
IIRC, I saw some instructions on the yahoo group. A buddy and I made some for my TCS with fairly coarse screen. I think this is the stuff (https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=3640) and it worked fine. We made a male and female buck from plywood using a router. You can get fancy and use hard wood but it's not necessary. Put the screen between the bucks and jump on it a few times. There's no need for clamps really.

Does that help?

Just an FYI, I discovered that you can buy wire mesh direct from Darby Wire Mesh in Philly - http://darbywiremesh.com .  They have a minimum order of $75 per mesh item.  I'm going to have to do the whole car - front, back, deck, and radiator - so maybe one order of mesh from them will do the trick.

Speedymetals may have the SS mesh.

I forgot to mention that because of the minute tolerances involved that you must jump on it with precision!  :)
