How many TC configurations (from the factory) where there? Mine (1972) says "big valve". Does that mean 126 hp or 105hp? I thought I read that the Weber carb engines had more HP and stromberg engines had less? What about Euro vs US? I thought there was also a "high compression" version too. Wikipedia isn't much help..

There was only one Federal version for the Europa TC, and that's the Big-Valve, low-compression, Stromberg-carbed version. 105 BHP perhaps.
There were other versions for the Elan and Plus 2 - do you want those, too?

I was thinking the federal Europa Twin Cams were 113 hp. Am I incorrect?

Officially, the Federal Big Valve Stromberg TC engine, the only one fitted to Federal Europas, gave 110 BHP. Most authorities, like Miles Wilkins, for example, suggest that with the emission control stuff in place they probably gave 97 - 98.
