Good to know if I need parts for my small block Chevy when I'm in Jolly-Old.

Are there NAPA stores in the UK?

I have never heard of them John, but just Googled it and "yes" there are..!!! See copy and paste below:-

NAPA IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
Over 280 separate stockists make up the NAPA network within the UK, providing a convenient service to the many garages working on vehicle repairs.

I am amazed and impressed!

If you don't care about originality, look at Cargo alternators. They come in a range, and you're  bound to find one that suits. My son got one for his Caterham. It's small, light, plenty of output, and wires up just like the diagram. You might have to  pack the mounting with a bit of tube or similar, but that would be straightforward.

Would anyone have a source for the connectors used on the AC Delco alternator?
I am looking for the shell and connectors, not a pigtail.
Thanks

Got a photo?  Lucas alternator connectors from an MGB or Triumph might work.

Here you go
I would like to get the conector with bare pins rather than a pig tail.
Thanks

Nope.  Pure unobtainium.
