S2 on EBAY
« on: Thursday,November 24, 2022, 08:01:19 PM »
Have seen this S2 on Ebay for a while. Not selling, any reason why this would be as I thought the S2 is a somewhat sought out model? Other that squeaking brakes, tappet noise and a tail light out, seems like a nice car. Maybe price to high.

I've been surprised that car has not sold.
Not perfectly original with the single DCOE but an Else type Weber conversion should not hurt value.
Noticed a paint chip curl in the rear deck lid so touch-up of the metallic paint may be a little tricky.
Overall a very nice car that probably should be driven more often.
Other than the minor paint flaw I see nothing a day of TLC would not cure.
Seller should probably make the mechanical repairs and post a better video.
I should email him and ask if he has the paint code as I really like the color.

My guess for not selling would be mostly that it is not a TC and does not have a TS head conversion either.
So getting by with only nearly the original HP.
Seems everyone is addicted to more power than actually needed these days.
