That's Jono who is one of our local lads and I think that was his first outing.
That section is known as 'lovers leap' and it catches pretty much everyone the first time.

Also notice the horrendous gap between 2nd and 3rd gear.

The gap between 2nd and 3rd is the bane of the 336 and 352.  The 365 is perfect in that regard.

That was Adrian Neweys GT40, he had Red Bull footing the bill (as part of his contract) for his racing exploits - which probably eased Kennys mind somewhat about pushing the car but it’s still spectacular to watch!

One important difference between the 2 videos - is that with the Europa he had to remove and reposition his hands on the steering wheel to catch the back end. The GT40 probably had less turns lock to lock and a smaller steering wheel. Impressive none the less.

The GT40 was power induced in the wet, easy to control. A mid engine over steering in the dry at the apex is much harder to catch.

The gap between 2nd and 3rd is the bane of the 336 and 352.  The 365 is perfect in that regard.

When I 1st sprinted my S2 the gap was very noticeable, but by taking the rev limiter off & using 7k on an 807, driving harder & faster, changing from road to racing tyres then slicks it wasn't such a problem, still there but not noticeable.
New engine will have more power, torque & more safer rpm.

I noticed that gear gap.  What a let down!  Now I relish my 365 that much more!  (as long as I can find a gear now and again)
