S2 restoration project

This has recently come up and whilst needs a lot of work is much closer to me so is a possible candidate but I'm thinking it's still overpriced.

I don't know if that's too bad a price or not? (the additional cost of bringing it back to the UK would be a factor to consider)

The ad mentions damage to the roof, but the pictures in the ad carefully don't show that.  You could ask for more pictures, including detailed pictures of the damage and pictures of the underside, including the front T and the crux of the rear Y, to get some idea of how rusty the frame is.  If the seller is responsive and helpful then you might have a good basis to take the next step. 

Are you handy with fibreglass repairs?
