Absolutely brilliant mate, I'm really pleased to hear good news like that.
Now you've got plenty of "enforced rest" time on your hands, there's no excuse not to drop in and let's know how you're getting on. Keep in touch.

-
Man, Derek. That has to be rough! Let's hope this one is successful and also the last one!
Keep your spirits up and hopefully we'll be hearing from you soon!
-
Hi Derek, all the best with the transplant, I hope that the nurses can find you a wifi connection!!
If not, do you have an address? (I could send you some car magazines?)
all the very best,
Mark

Hi Derek,
Gee, that's certainly not the news you want to hear. I'm guessing if they've got you in hospital already that you're going to be the next on the list as soon as a donor organ becomes available ?
I know nothing about the ins and outs of transplant surgery or what's involved, so I'll just wish you and your family my best wishes for what must be a pretty grim time for you all. Keep your chin up mate, and let's know how you're getting on.
cheers
Brian

-
Hang in there, Derek! We're pulling for you to get over this and get back feeling good! We want to hear about you zipping around in some plastic sports car! Do what the doctors say and keep your eyes on the nurses!
-
Hi Derek,
If you're back online and can get this, here's another "keep yer chin up laddie ! " It's a lousy deal you've had over this but folks get through and you're going to do so as well.
I know you probably don't feel like it, but keep in touch and we'll do our best to keep your mind off it all.
cheers,
Brian
