Seller claims it is a GKN47D clone. It seems a rather loose interpretation of the term 'clone'.

I am always cautious (suspicious?) when a highly modified, classic sports car is offered for sale with almost no written description.
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.

It's either the sister car or an evolution of this car:  https://www.zero260.com/posts/ford-cosworth-powered-track-star-1969-lotus-europa-series-2-race-car

The license plate is different, but a few of the photos are the same.

It's one thing to massively modify a car to one's taste but it's another to call it a clone of another car when clearly it have very few similarities to the original. It would have been much better if they had just called it, for example, a "V8 Europa." That is about the only similarity to the GKN Europa.

Pretty nice. I think this is the same car that has or had a 4cyl turbo motor with a Cosworth valve cover. Both have top mounted wipers, same wheels tires and flares.

The GKN might be more famous but looking at the rear suspension, rear sway bar and the $400+ each per track  tire, this car was built to go at the limit and would probably embarrass the famed GKN.

I too wish there was more details.

Well darn! I could have saved myself a lot of time and effort on my V-8 monster had this been for sale a few years ago! LOL.

Admit it does look like an impressive seriously modified car alright. Nothing against that I see. But comparison to GKN? That's more than a stretch. I'd rather they'd just sell this one on its own merits, and skip the quasi-heritage claims. Is it worth this price? Guess we will see.

Clifton,
Like you, I thinks it's the same car! I certainly would not be embarrassed to own it  8)
