The actual name used depended on local copyright provisions. In some countries, Europa was already in use or reserved by other companies. They they used Europe.

I'm guessing it was a Canadian market car, I have seen a few on this side of the 49th with the Europe badge.

Post by: Vegantune on Monday,March 27, 2023, 02:02:09 PM: VW owned name rights in Germany for Europa. Cars sold in that market had to go by "Europe" instead. Elsewhere including Europe outside of Germany, Europa name wasn't a problem.
