After ten years I set the body back on the chassis tonight to test fit and check engine clearances. Luckily, everything clears nicely. :trophy:

I will be able to service the cams and timing belt in place. Sometimes luck beats planning.

Congratulations! Looks GREAT!
Love the firewall & alternator adjuster, she's gonna be a rocket with that Zetec. 8)

Very nice, Joe!!! I'm surprised you are able to get to the timing belt through the engine compartment!
Blaster's right, it should scream, but you already knew that, didn't you? ;D

Whether luck or planning, nice workmanship. Do you have a time table for completion?

My goal is to take it to the Monterrey Historics this year in August. My friend, who has a shop a few doors over from me, is finishing his Dino and we plan to caravan from LA to Monterrey. He is a coach builder working in Aluminum.

Ambitious but not impossible. After 10 years, if you've forgotten how things go together, I have a mostly original TCS for reference, actually two.

Nice job Joe. I recall seeing the body just after you got it painted at your old shop in Long Beach. The chassis and engine work is really first class. Good luck on finishing it soon.

It's sad that I have taken so long to get it back together. I tell everyone that I've been waiting for the paint to get hard. I think 10 years is long enough.
