A couple of years ago I bought a pair of camshafts, thinking them to be the Sprint or "D" type shafts as used in the last of the high-performance UK-spec TC engines.
Well, they aren't, they're Kent Cams L14 shafts, with .410" lift. Ideal for someone wanting to build a high-performance engine, but I really want a road engine and they may be a bit peaky for me.
So, does anyone have a pair of Europa D-type shafts they'd care to swap with me? These would have been fitted, as standard, to TC Specials with Dellorto carbs, but not to Federal cars.

O.K, so that brought forth no response. Let's try something else..
1. Does anyone have a pair of Europa TC "D"-type camshafts for sale?
2. Can anyone recommend a camshaft grinder who can either modify my Kent or Standard shafts to D-type specification?

I'm not familiar with the different TC cam grinds but I think I remember hearing that Isky had nice cams (I just went to their site and I didn't see Lotus mentioned but they're probably worth a call. Dave Bean is also someone I'd contact as he has a lot of stuff like that. I would also keep Omnitech Engineering in Washington in mind.
Good luck!

I was thinking of Dave Bean myself. Their catalog lists a variety of different cams for the twin cam. Whether they still offer all of them, you'll have to call and find out.

Roger,
You are probably in the wrong part of the world for me. I may well be swapping out my big valve cams with something a bit faster, but your cams may be a bit too hot for me. those cams you have are high lift and 280 degree. I will know what I am doing in the next few days. PM me if you want to discuss further.
