T9 transmission question

Just curious if a Ford T9 transmission has any value to Elan owners?
Is it used to upgrade to a 5 speed? I know they put them in MGs etc.
Of course I am asking because I have one out of a Merkur XR4Ti....

I don't know but the place to ask is the Elan forums. There's a section for modifications and I know folks have posted about using different gearboxes in an attempt to get 5 speed Elans.

Used in Caterhams for many years so there is always an outlet for you there...

Been trying to find one for a while.
Found the post while trying to research Renault NG1071 box.
