Title: Europa Spotted in Kelowna, BC
Post by: Rosco5000 on Wednesday,August 12, 2015, 02:12:48 PM
My good friend sent me a picture the other day of a Europa going down the main drag in Kelowna BC the other day.  Is that anyone on the forum here?

Good eye, Kid!!! Hope college is going well for you! How's your Europa doing? Did you find out what was wrong with it?

I thought it might be Lee, he's sometimes on the Yahoo board.  I haven't talked with him in over a year, but last time I was in contact with him he was in the finishing stages of a Lotus 23 build.

College starts up again Wednesday. Europa is doing very well. My dad and I took it out a week ago and drove it for a little. Did a few maintenance stuff and checked a few things. I changed the oil and the engine actually seemed much better then before. The oil we put in is a little heavier so that might have helped. We are still keeping an eye on it but for now it seems fine. As for my M100 we will be painting it this winter and hopefully get it back on the road soon. We put new carpet in it and it looks fantastic.

Glad to hear there seems to be no need to take out the motor! I'm sure you have your favorite oil, but I thought I'd put in a recommendation for Redline 10W40. It's been good in my engine and their 75W90NS is great in my tranny! It is approved for flat tappet engines, of course.

Good luck on your next semester!!
