I use UNF grade S bolts (50-55 Tons per square inch), that's the same what they used originally. It's the same as grade 8.8. Do you think there is a need for such great strength in these bolts?

Edit: Grade S seems to be the same as grade 8.8.

Well, when I will have the Eau Rouge in front of my eyes I want to be sure that I am having my chassis, suspensions and wheels strong enough.

10.8 are for Roll bars
8.8 for suspension and engine mountings

4.5 is usually for home use.
Stainless just for aesthetic... Body ancillaries and so on

Today, with a new friend :)

Class record holder Michael turned up at a hillclimb with his new toy.
Fast and pleasantly raucous too.

Both had good days after (coincidentally) both stuffing up our first run.
At least Michael kept the wheels on the black stuff unlike me :'(

Mecky and Oz boys........indeed great pictures.  Here is a lesson for all, if you buy a fixer house be prepared.  I haven't turned an automotive wrench in nine months............and spend all my extra time working on what I thought I wanted.   It will all turn out good but, gawd..........when?

Lads, keep the pix coming.....I need a mental boost.

May 2014. Doors are off. Applying primer to body to reveal blemishes that need addressing.

Making more progress on the shop than on the car. Finished up on the demo, looking to get power run out there in the coming weeks.
