We've got another Europa racing video for you guys! Its coming out in three parts over the next few days. Hope you find it as amusing as we did making it.
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWyJSF3g6_s

Excellent ! Just watched it and it's great to see Westhavenbrook racing back on the big screen. And for 9 minutes, heck that must have taken a lot of filming to get down to a 9 minute clip. Looking forward to tomorrow's episode, don't forget to post the link.....

Nicely done guys. I look forward to parts 2 and 3 :beerchug:
-
Glad you guys are enjoying it!
The whole thing was designed to be a concise self contained documentary. However once the final edit came in at just over 20 minutes, I realized we'd have to break it up for youtube consumption. But it lent itself to 3 smaller parts in the end.
The second part goes live tonight at midnight PST. I'll post the link to it before I go to bed. There's a lot of good stuff still on the way!

:beerchug: Another classic episode and what a cliffhanger ending...
will Ben make it to the last race ?
will the team manager replace him with... a girl ?
will the old 'ropey 'ropa finish the season without losing any more parts ?
will someone else show up and snatch the championship from under our hero's nose by using a Delorean and traveling back in time to the early stages ?
gee, it's all to play for.... down to the wire boys !
:)
Brian
ps - on an (almost) serious note, can you guys really drive open wheel cars like your 500 on the roads without getting pulled up by the cops ? I bet I wouldn't get more than a mile over here without suddenly finding I'd got a police escort !
-
No, it is QUITE illegal to drive an open wheel car around. What I did was drive it around the block. Well two blocks because there's a one one street between them going the wrong way. So on occasion when I need to make sure it still works, i look around the neighborhood and see what's going on, then quickly drive around the block and park it. I've put on a series of mufflers so it doesn't annoy the neighbors too much, but oddly enough many of them come out of their houses to watch and cheer and often ask me if I'm going to take it out whenever I'm in the driveway. So I guess I'm lucky to have such great neighbors.

Very cool Ben! So much better than parades and football on thanksgiving!!!
I'm anxiously awaiting the finale...

And here's the exciting conclusion, PART 3:

Absolutely magic ! I very rarely watch Youtube videos, (in fact I think yours are the only ones I've watched this year) but those 3 clips are excellent and I really enjoyed watching them. Even the credits at the end gave me a chuckle, so well done Team Westhavenbrook.
Excellent, you're all winners :trophy:

I am concerned about the young mechanic. Have you "big shot racing team" owners given any thought to her future or is she thrown to the curb without any consideration............
Typical of big corporations............

Yeah, you're right Mike. These racing drivers just collect their trophies, cheques and then clear off to a life of luxury on their yachts in Monte Carlo for the summer and never give a thought to the poor old worker bees they leave behind...... poor lass, left in the workshop with only a steering wheel to look at...... :)
-
I wouldnt know. John and Justin left me on the pavement next to the Europa and dove off after the race. But considering all the marriage proposals Cassie has gotten since this video came out, I'm sure she'll do just fine.
-
Note to Cassie:
Concerning the marriage proposals. Hold out for the best looking guy with the most money..........(not in that order)
everything else is just superficial...............

Those were GREAT Ben!!
If she is not in them already, perhaps you can re-cast your mechanic into your middle school math videos and spice them up a bit.... set to the right music, you might have some blockbusters. Then Cassie will be getting proposals from 13 year olds.

That comment needs a thumbs up!
And what's "Stunts Unlimited"?
-
Stunts Unlimited is sort of my Europa link to movies/TV/video ::). My Europa came with that Stunts Unlimited sticker on the back window. It was/is a group of Hollywood stuntmen. I believe my car's original owner (aka Dad) was one of them in the 80s. I don't believe my car was ever used for work, he was a Jet Ski guy.
