That's an incredible deal, but a bit too far to travel for me 

For anyone in the UK, I use Mobil1 and Costco seems to be about the cheapest supplier I've found over here. 

Incidentally, does anyone know why we have oils marked up as either for Diesel engines or  Petrol (gas) engines ? I've often wondered what the differences are, is it extra additives in the diesels ?  Reading that thread it infers that you could use the diesel oils in petrol engines.

Ive been using diesel oils for last 8 years, both in the europa now, anmd the elise before that.  its high in zinc, and the 0w 40 i used in the elise had additives that were good for the cams.

Ah, interesting. Does the high zinc content hold for all diesel oils or just Mobil 1 ? If so, then given the talk about reducing zinc contents in some oils over here then I think I'd switch over as well.

As i understand it, its the diesel versions.
