Lotus europa S1
« on: Monday,September 25, 2023, 04:23:56 AM »
Hi !

I bought years ago a Lotus Europa S1
The previous owner kept it in his garage for 15 years without touching/investing in the car

Since I've had it, I've had the engine and brakes overhauled. I also removed the installed headlights to find the original location of the carrelo headlights.
I contacted Lotus to find out if they still had the original information on the car. Unfortunately they didn't, and could only confirm that the car had been sold new in Switzerland.
The chassis was replaced by a previous owner (before 2005). I don't know if the engine is the original one.
The car is number 460008
I'll probably have to part with it for lack of space and time to get it fully back on the road.
I was wondering, do you have any idea of its value?

Thanks

It looks to have been modified quite a bit.  Would need a lot of work and $$$ to bring it back to original.

As with any car that has been revamped, there are those who like it as is and those that want it to be original. So what is the value??? That is up to you to determine and then find the right buyer for it. As long as it is in good shape, there is a buyer
