Now at 17 bids and $5,200 with two days to go.
Looks much better than some of the cars that have recently sold for more.
Not listed under the correct heading so may not be seen by everyone who might be interested.

It does look like a pretty good deal at this price. The left inner u-joint is not fully seated on the output shaft. It's probably nothing to worry about but it would be worth asking about it.

It should make a nice project!

Less than three hours to go and still only $5,300.
I am surprised, it is a TC and even my S2 went at $5,500 a couple of years ago.

I'm not good at judging the $ value of any car let along a Europa like this one. I suspect he'll get a bit more but we don't know if the engine runs and we assume the tranny is in good shape. There's a lot of work yet to do on it, not to mention paint.

We'll see what he gets soon enough!

Too many unknowns, gear-change assembly, steering column. What is missing?

It only brought $6100. A bit less than I expected but not that much less. I didn't expect $10,000 for example. Somebody got a nice project that will probably keep them pretty busy for a while.

I’d like to thank everyone for allowing me to join your community. I am the new owner/caretaker of this Europa. Work is keeping me quite busy at the moment however I have plans to start sorting through all of the boxes of parts and begin the resurrection party in the next few weeks. I am some what familiar with these cars but certainly not an expert …..yet!
I wanted to let everyone know the car has a safe home in Kansas and while not a priority over other projects in the shop, forward progress will begin shortly.
I appreciate your site, your knowledge base and hope I can contribute to this awesome community of Europa enthusiasts!  👍😁

Brian,  :Welcome: It looks like you have a great start on a great Europa. Please feel free to ask lots of questions. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. We love pictures. Resizing to Thumbnail size helps us see them. Let the fun begin!

Welcome to the forum, Brian. Good looking project. Good luck with the restoration. Cheers  :beerchug:
The Twin Cam plays the symphony whilst my right foot conducts the orchestra. At 3800 rpm the Mad Pipe Organ joins in.
