it's posted with a "buy-it-now" price, so the price is NOT going higher.
seller is quite confused, since he lists a '71 S2 Europa, but describes a '73 Europa Twin cam????

The paint and body look good and the interior looks okay but there is only a little 2" tach - the same size as the other gauges - the speedo is stock though. There is what is apparently a bundle of wires hanging from behind the dash draped along the passenger side of the backbone inside the car. The car is listed as a 71 Lotus Europa but the description says it is a '73 Europa S3!

I don't think they are going to get near $26K!

My mistake Ted, I see now it’s 26 watching...

BDA, just watched the video and it went downhill fast as soon as he opened the door. Front window chrome trim also missing on uprights.
Definitely not a 73 Twin cam!

I'm not sure they'll get $13K.

I don't know.  The car is in Las Vegas.  Some gambler might get lucky and buy the damn thing.  Alcohol and fast money do strange things to people.  Of course a few days letter, the guy's luck will run out and lose everything and then sell it to Chumley on Pawn Stars.

Chumley didn't buy it. The listing just ended.I bet Rick is happy about that!

There was an episode several years ago where someone tried to sell them a Europa but Rick couldn't get into it and they passed. How many people buy cars at a pawn shop?

Maybe that was a different episode, but in this one Rick buys a nice blue TCS for $13,000. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM_vKS1rKdY

You're right, Surf. I misremembered... That's the one I was thinking of. I feel better that he bought it.
