Found this photo while going through some old files. This was my first view upon arriving at RSR Motorsports at the Ring to rent a race car for the day. An American "driver" up in the office was shelling out some 25k for the damage to the car and some 3k for the guard rail impact. His wife was crying. Glad my wife wasn't with me to see it. On the pre open track tour the instructor/guide asked all 40 or so drivers "How many have driven the actual Ring?" Three hands went up. Then he asked "How many have driven it in a computer simulation game?" About 30 hands went up. He said "This place is not a game". He was correct. On the first lap of the day three cars ate it, all looking similar to the Lotus here. I drove pretty conservative that day.
