Would anyone have any info as to where or from what donor vehicle the courtesy light switches came from originally? They are located in the door opening frame. Or better yet a "newer" switch alternative would work? I have found online dozens of switches, but want to seek advise and/or experience from others that may have either found sourcing or an upgrade that will work.
Mine are complete toast!!
I have no problem relocating the switch, doing any body/fiberglass modifications etc.
By the way in the parts manual-major components page, the switch is #27 as seen in attached drawing below.
Thanks for advice and/or guidance.

Even Richard Winter at Banks Europa doesn't know.
Last time I was there getting heaps of bits, I asked him.

R.D. Ent. switch is a Dorman #85932 - Door Jamb Switch-Self Grounding
It can be purchased online in a variety of places for as low as $1.43 each!!
Thanks for the heads up, you saved me $17...

They are pretty cheap. $1.43 sounds right. If your car is young enough (!) for door buzzers, you may already have a spare - that is, unless you want the buzzer!

I bought 4.....one for each door and 1 for each hood for a "courtesy light" for the trunks/storage areas.
$5+ instead of $80.
