Renault engine, arrow on piston points to exhaust?

Not actually assembling my engine today. 
But I am trying to mock it up to confirm that my head will work as it is with the high compression Wossner pistons.
They have an arrow on top, if I recall correctly it is to point toward the exhaust side.
But it has been too long and I am unsure where I got that notion.
No instructions with the pistons or on their site.
Not wanting to have to remove them from the rods so need to confirm this ASAP.

OK, found it after much more searching than expected.
"The piston crown may be marked with an arrow for exhaust location....."
