I have a new goal post to achieve. A thing of beauty 🤧
Knife edge , polished crank. Probably a whole lot more. Not in my lifetime though.🤣

I'm not up on my aerodynamics but a knife edge is not the best way to cleave the air.  Round edge facing the air and a knife edge when leaving would be better i think.

Not an expert, but I thought knife edge cranks were cleaving the oil, reducing drag by ?? Percent.

(Might also be best with round edge leading…)

    BDA,
Very informative video so far. I need to finish watching it. I have a lot of Northrop books on engines however not an in depth breakdown on individual components.
  Kendo,
This is a work in progress. JB mentioned the cut in the crank however I'm a novice in going into the experimental. I do want to present a discussion about any modification that will benefit that is cost efficient.
