Pedal mounting bolt pattern?
« on: Monday,June 07, 2021, 12:30:06 PM »
I need the pedal mounting pattern so I can drill my T-section repair piece. Is there a drawing of the pedal assembly with dimensions?
The old piece was too rusty for an accurate measurement and the holes in the body have been wallowed out ....

I get a measurement of 4-3/8 x 1-9/16"
The more I do the more I find I need to do....

This drawing is the closest thing I could find to what you want (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1szP1L6-cHpjrGMF2dAiyQrY_aR-ZWDJM). It came from the old lotuseuropa yahoo group. Before yahoo closed their groups down, our own EuropaTC collected all the files and organized them into sections and put them on a google drive. The whole collection might be useful (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uOmTsXhIF3qlutvCvmY8sAaliwc8Rwbj).

It looks my guesstimate was correct! 4-3/8 x 1-9/16"

Thanks BDA!

Turbo, this is a drawing of the pedal assembly base plate.

If you don't have access then join the Lotus Europa group on groups.io .

This is my original piece that was cut off for an S2 fed . I’ll put measurements on it if it’s what you want.

The file is a pdf - I tried to give you the link to the pdf but my link seems to only get you to the menu for "A - Chassis". Go to the "Lotus europa chassis drawing.pdf. A few pages down is where the 'T' part of the frame and the pedal attachment is.

edit - I see that you found it, Turbo! Between that drawing and the drawing gideon sent you, you should be in pretty good shape!
