Bearings needed for 352 Transaxle
« on: Thursday,July 27, 2017, 03:46:19 PM »
I dimly remember someone on this site suggesting they found a source for the bearings of a 352 transaxle in Europe but I can't seem to find the post. Anyone have a better memory than me?

I'm looking for the two (front and rear) primary shaft bearings, the front pinion shaft bearing and the rear pinion shaft bearing.

Thanks in advance for any help!

mecasparts.com

You'll have to go by Renault part numbers.  Those are available here:

http://www.lotus-europa.com/manuals/index.htm

The front pinion bearing is not supplied separately by Renault.  Meca has them but you will have to order based on the actual dimensions required.  Circlip grooves may, or may not, be present and/or located correctly and some creative machine work might be required.

I don't know if this is who heard about, but I think you're looking for Alpine-America (http://www.alpine-america.qc.ca/).

I think I did too.  Darn fat fingers!

Alpine America sells the Meca Parts line in North America.
