I bought this shell and parts for the parts. I thought about keeping the shell for a future project, but it's kind of bulky. The seat belt rear mounts are still fitted to the shell, and a few other little bits, but essentially it's a bare shell.
There's no evidence of accident damage. The front and rear ends are very good for its age, but the bulkhead has rotted out, as usual, and there are other small fibreglass repairs needed. The seats were cut out of the floor, and one door was cut out of the sill - presumably due to seized bolts. Please message me for more pictures. Bare doors are included.
Front and rear lids are available, and will be offered to the buyer of the shell first.
£695 ono, based in Berkshire. At around £3k for a new shell and you still need to build a firewall into the ones I've seen, this is a viable lower cost alternative.
I'd be interested in a swap for an S2 logbook and VIN plate.
I have a trailer and can deliver the shell if needed for additional cost - around 50p per mile as long as I can get there and back in a day, or if you're up North I might be able to overnight at family to keep the cost down.
Please note that the pictures were taken when I picked the car up, apart from the top one, which is as it stands now. Bumpers and other parts are not included.
